Braxton Shipping is a South African registered and Durban based close corporation which is a subsidiary of Braxton Security Services cc.
Braxton’s was founded in 1998 by Liz Sher an Indian female and initially functioned in the Security industry.
In 2007 the company diversified and entered the Shipping Industry providing the services of a vessel agency/stevedoring/crewing.
In 2008 Braxton’s proceeded into the fishing industry and acquired a vessel and permits to fish Patagonian tooth fish.
Miss Sher in the latter part of 2008 went into partnership with Mr A D Gestido.
Thus Braxton’s is now owned by Miss Sher and Mr Gestido with Miss Sher being the majority shareholder.
Mr Gestido has extensive and expert knowledge in the fishing Industry due to his 20 years of experience.
Braxton’s is the owner of MFV EL SHADDAI a South African registered vessel which fishes for Patagonian tooth fish.
