Efectos Navales del Atlantico S.L. is a supplier of surface long-line and bottom long-line gear , with operating bonds in Bilbao, Vigo, Durban ( South Africa) and Walvis Bay ( Namibia).
The company was established in 1998 and since then has been a main supplier of fishing gear to the Spanish long-line fleet, accompanying the boats to the overseas bases in the Indian and South Atlantic oceans.

We also work with the Electrostunning Machine by electroshock for large pelagic species. This machine has been designed to help the raising and manipulation on board a ship of large pelagic species like the Big Eye Tuna and the Mako Shark while carrying out longline surface fishing. Result of using this machine, the raising of a large fish is easy and safe with less amount of lactic acid in the meat. The electrostunning process used for the large pelagic species is in total accordance with the E.U. directives associated with the slaughter of domestic animals.
