1980-1983: We finished moving from our original Wickford location to our new waterfront facility in Narragansett, Rhode Island.
1984: The Town Dock purchased the first of its large fishing fleet. This marked the beginning of The Town Dock securing the inventory of fresh products its customers demanded.
Mid 80's: We added our 150 ton ice plant. We built one of the largest ice plants in Rhode Island. The addition of the ice plant was important to help service our boats with fresh ice, ensuring that the boats bring back the freshest product.
Starting in the 1990, we started shipping domestically, by truck, air freight, and overseas, to meet our customers' growing demands. We had an addition built, including much needed freezer space, to complete our 40000 sq.ft. facility. The rest of the 90’s were spent adding additional trucks and boats to our ever growing fleet of vessels.
2000's: We purchased additional boats securing more of the New England Squid catch. We added another dock to maximize our unloading capability.
Today we are the largest purchaser of domestic (East Coast) squid. From our waterfront site we handle more fresh and frozen calamari than any other seafood company in Rhode Island.
