The company Crusoe Foods, own by the Spanish group Jealsa Rianxeira-, announced its entry into the Brazilian market with an initial investment of $ 26 million in 2011 and forecast annual sales of U.S. $ 28 million.
Crusoe Foods expects to begin exporting to the countries of Mercosur from the factory in Porto Alegre, in a year, according to a memorandum of the company.
The company aims to reach 5% market share in 2011.
The range of 80 products Jealsa Rianxeira-food Crusoe initially be sold in Brazil mussels, sardines, tuna and derivatives.
