NIKORA JSC, founded with the Georgian capital, has held the leading position in the local food products market for 11 years.
The business started with the production of food products soon expanded in different areas. At present, the holding incorporates meat products, semi-finished products, fish products, dairy products, ice-cream, bakery products, frozen confectionary, soft drinks and wine companies. At the same time, the company has its own retail and distribution chain, a regional production plant in Poti, a representative office for the distribution network in Imereti, a trout farm in Ozurgeti, and a farm in Gardabani Region. The number of the chain stores across Georgia exceeds 70. Towards the end of 2009, the holding gained 7 supermarkets in Tbilisi. In addition, the first supermarket, was launched in Kutaisi by Nikora.
"Okeane" entered the Georgian market in 2003 and nowadays it is considered one of the largest enterprises domestically. The brand offers its consumers a wide range of fish and seafood in the Georgian market.
"Okeane’s" caviar and trout, bred in the company-owned fishery in the city of Ozurgeti, command popularity from the consumers. The fishery provides "Nikora" Supermarket Chain with live trout and salmon caviar.
Another successful step for NIKORA Holding’s was to launch the manufacture of fish products. Originally produced under the brand name of Enki and after reimaging – under the brand name of Ocean
In addition to locally made products, Ocean imports seafood and delicatessen products as well. Our chain stores sell live, cooled, frozen, salt seasoned semi-smoked fish, salt fish products as well as fish salads, preserves, canned fish, caviar, and seafood products.
