It has a modern service infrastructure that locate it as a national leader in movement of agricultural bulk, automobiles and containers in the Gulf of Mexico; its Customs are the first Maritime Customs of Mexico because of the value of its merchandise and the second for the total cargo volume and it is also the only one in the Country with inspection of merchandises through Gamma and X Rays equipment, access control and closed circuit cameras. As you can notice, Veracruz is a Port of challenges. On its perspective to the future is moving forward on the extension works towards the zone known as Bahia de Vergara, therefore it is guaranteed the sustainable growth of one of the most competitive poles of the Mexican foreign trade to maintain its place as the Great Port of Mexico.
