The German company Dorit was founded in 2001, due to the growing demands of the Common Market. In 2003 Anton Schmid, who has been working for Dorit since 1985, became the controlling shareholder of Dorit in Gerrnany and is now the owner of the company. A new company - the DFT Deutsche Fleisch Technik GmbH - was set up by Maria and Anton Schmid in 2006. These two companies formed the »Meat Processing Equipment Group Dorit/DFT« and joined in August 2009 under the name of Dorit-DFT Fleischereimaschinen GmbH. Dorit-DFT Fleischereimaschinen GmbH is now supplying a full range of equipment for the curing industry to countries all over the world and is laying emphasis on quick and speedy order processing as well as offering expert consultation services
