Loch Etive

Loch Etive is a very special place. Nestled in the northwest Highlands of Scotland, an area steeped in history and surrounded by dramatic scenery, the loch is where the salt water of the sea and the crisp fresh mountain waters from Ben Cruachan and the surrounding hills meet. This perfect environment naturally makes Loch Etive Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss, also known as Steelhead or Loch Trout) a unique and very special fish. Loch Etive trout is ethically-raised to Freedom Food standard, in flowing waters as close to wild conditions as possible. The resulting fish is premium quality and sushi grade. It is available all year round either fresh (chilled) or frozen, as whole fish (head on or head off) or as fillets.
