Pesquera Exalmar S.A. is a company dedicated to processing and marketing of fishmeal and fish oil. It has four production units two of 80 and 84 tons / hr with direct drying system and two of 60 tons / hr each with steam drying system (prime), which are located in Casma, Huacho, Tambo de Mora and Chicama, respectively.
Except Huacho plant, which was acquired on December 30, 1996 by the Corporation through the privatization of Peru Huacho Fish Plant Ltd., our plants have been purchased new in 1992, 1995 and 1998, so our processes are carried out with the latest technology, friendly environment with high levels of efficiency.
The supply of our plants are insured because the company has a fleet of fifteen vessels, with a total hold capacity of 5.530 MT.
Merger between Pesquera Exalmar and several shipowners. Through this merger, Pesquera Exalmar S.A., one of the leading fishing companies in Peru, consolidated several purchases of shipowners made between 2006 and 2007.
