The founders of B. ROBERT’S began the company in 1992 in Charlotte, North Carolina, driven by a vision of supplying high-quality fresh foods to grocery stores. The company’s goal was to allow stores to manage store labor more comprehensively, while providing consumers with easy-to-use, delicious fresh foods.
B. Robert’s moved its operations in 2011 from 24,000 square feet to a 97,000-sq.-ft. building at 2700 Westinghouse Boulevard in Charlotte. The new facility is a state-of-the-art fresh foods manufacturing plant that provides B. Robert’s the opportunity to greatly expand services.
In 2011, B. Robert’s introduced two new product lines to extend customers’ fresh foods offerings.Both are value-added raw meat offerings packaged in case-ready form:
