Altamarea – founded in Agrigento (Sicily) in 1996 – is a company specialized in the production of smoked fish products – in particular swordfish, yellowfin tuna and salmon – and always committed to the development and research of new products.
Our company produces exclusively according to the traditional method: dry salting and traditional cold smoking by hanging, without the use of any chemical product, in fact the only ingredients used are fish, salt, cane sugar and beech wood smoke.
One of the strengths of our work is to ensure to the customer high quality standards, resulting from the great care with which we take care of every aspect of the process, from procurement to just-in-time delivery (quality, traceability, health and laboratory controls both internal and external ...).
We also boast the following certifications: BRC, IFS, ISO 22000:2005, MSC and ASC.
