MarFish, established in 1994, is a Croatian company focused on the farming, transport, and sale of high-quality Adriatic fish, particularly seabass. Located near Kornati National Park, we emphasize sustainability and environmental responsibility. Using advanced technology and adhering to strict ecological standards, MarFish produces over 200 tons of seabass annually, with fish naturally grown over 4-5 years. The company aims to expand its market while maintaining its commitment to quality and sustainability.

In contrast to the industrial intensive farming of fish that is farmed for 18-24 months, fish with an average weight of 1-2 kg are farmed for 4-5 years. Therefore, due to the extremely long breeding period, maximum attention must be paid to the feeding and health of the fish. With the careful selection of exceptional quality fry, with the selection of top-quality food for fish, to the highly educated professional staff that manages every part of the production.

There is no damage to the seabed, which allows coral and algae to bloom as well as the spawning of various marine organisms on our anchor installations. The life cycle of marine life is not harmed because eggs and newborn fish are not caught. The depths and extremely strong currents of the sea allow us to leave almost no impact on the quality of the sea. By choosing our naturally farmed fish, you contribute to the protection and restoration of life in the sea.

We use the traditional Japanese Ikejime method on our fish. The labour intensive method ensures longer freshness, better taste and structure of the fish.
