Group Sagun produces, processes, and manufactures fresh and frozen products in it's 17 facilities located in variour territories of Turkiye. We farm sea bream, sea bass, rainbow trout, salmon trout, and Blue Fin Tuna in Turkey. Regarding red-fleshed salmon trout, we farm them in the Black Sea. We also farm red-fleshed salmon trout in freshwater lakes.
Additionally, we can supply rainbow trout (white-fleshed) in portion sizes, whole and gutted.
Due to the natural obstacles of our geography (water and air temperatures) we start harversting in May. The harvested fish were processed into fillets, and some were gutted and headless, then frozen. Therefore, we can offer frozen products between October -April.
We start farming our salmon trout in freshwater until they reach 600-900 grams. They are fed with our own premium feed, ensuring they develop the desired red color. After this stage, some of these trout are transferred to the sea, where they continue growing until the harvest season.
The harvest must be carried out before the summer, as the air and water temperatures in the Black Sea rise to levels that prevent further growth
