Frinsa became a pioneer in Spain in industrial refrigeration (ice maker, freeze the fish inshore and cold storage) and a pioneer in Europe in the marketing of frozentuna from the first freezer vessels. With the growth in demand Frinsa pioneering again, this time in the Canary Islands,where he has a fleet of 60 boats with a crew of 1,200 fishermen to catch tuna fresh,freeze them in Tenerife and transport in refrigerated ships to the port of RibeiraSpanish canneries and market them abroad. Frinsa revolutionized the processing sector, which until then only fresh ingredientsworked on a campaign to capture, and went to work all year to be frozen raw materials.
