Made up of a shrimp production farm, a processing industrial plan, and a larviculture unit, the Atlantis Project was created and executed under the most modern operational concepts, using high technology, as well as counting with multinational companies specialized consulting from the conception and implementation phase to its complete operationalization.
Sited at Pernambuco, the Fernandes Vieira Group is formed by 12 (twelve) companies that directly and indirectly generate over 2,000 jobs and that act on three economical segments: (1) Health; (2) Agribusiness; and, (3) Transports
The Fernandes Vieira Group is already considered one of the country's greatest Sea Shrimp producers. It is spread in an area of 600ha, with a production foresight of 2,700,000 kg gross production/year. The Atlantis Project is supported by an extremely modern Processing Unit for its entire production, and by its coalition with Aqualíder, responsible for producing 40% of the post-larvae produced in Brazil whose installed capacity allows a production of 1,2 billion PL's a year.
