22 mussel boats deliver all their catch to the Limfjord Company A/S, which means an annual production of abt. 35.000 tons cleaned mussels. The production is abt. 15 mill. units of preserves and abt. 2.000 tons frozen mussels.
Limfjord Company A/S has its own laboratory and a well-developed approved HACCP system to secure the quality.

In 2010 Vilsund Blue a/s acquired the Limfjord company a/s and merged the two companies into one of the leading mussel producers in Europe.
