Seakura Ltd. is active in the controlled cultivation of clean Ulva and Gracilaria seaweed, known as Organic Sea Lettuce and Organic Red Seaweed, which it supplies to the Food, Organic Products and Cosmetics Industries.
Seakura produces young, clean, organic seaweed, rich with high nutritional value, unique flavor and aroma.
Cultivated in Mediterranean Sea water, Seakura's Organic Sea Lettuce and Organic Red Seaweed mature in large pools, where the water is pumped and filtered to ensure it is pure and clean.
The sea vegetables are managed under a controlled process, which involves balancing the water's properties and circulation, and the seaweed's exposure to the sun and density of growth. As Organic products, they are scrupulously supervised to comply with industry standards.
Seakura's Organic Sea Lettuce and Organic Red Seaweed are produced and harvested at our production facility located in the Natural Reserve of Michmoret, on the coastal strip between Tel Aviv and Haifa, in Israel.
