Eel focused the Company's initial interest because it is a major consumer product in Valencia and growing demand in Europe, although aimed at developing technology that should offer the possibility of future adaptation to other commercial species
In February 1986, glass eels were first introduced in the plant whose yearly production capacity was 100 tons in principle sufficient to cover the domestic market, concentrated mainly in Valencia. Two years later, in 1988, expanded facilities, and thus its capacity, with two clear objectives: first internationalize Company will be present in major European markets, and secondly, that this growth would consolidate the profitability of business.
