Established in 1972 FOODesign (Food Engineering and Designed Systems, Inc.) provided engineering services for complete plant installations, food processing, conveying equipment and product development services. In 1983 FOODesign sold all of its subsidiary operations and maintained the engineering portion of the company. The company was re-invented in 1994 by Joseph Mistretta (formerly Corporate Vice President of a FOODesign subsidiary and Daniel Luna (formerly Sales Manager for Meyer Machine Company). The company was re-established to provide engineering services for machine design and plant layout/installations. FOODesign Machinery & Systems, Inc. offers a wide range of industrial food processing equipment and services for domestic and international food processors. FOODesign serves as manufacturer, consultant, designer, and engineer of equipment for innovative procedures, machines, or complete food processing plants. We develop systems to fit existing or new processing lines.
