October 2011: The Asturian Fandiño merges and creates Promar one of the largest frozen company in Spain. The new company, Profand, with factories in Asturias, Galicia, Argentina, Peru and Senegal, and its own fleet climbs to fifth in the sector - Saco avilesina The family controls 55% of the capital. Profand (Promar and Fandiño acronym) was created as a multinational group with operations in several countries and continents. The merger has been done through a capital increase by 2.95 million Promar to absorb Fandino, thus resulting subscribed capital stood at 3.93 million.
