SEFGP is the regional sector body for regional food in the South East of England. We form the umbrella organisation for county food groups in the region and represent these groups and their businesses at national level.
Our day to day role includes trade development work with producers, the multiples, food service sector and wholesale markets as well as working with the public sector to increase the level of regional food on the menu of schools and hospitals. Since 2007, we also implement the South East Sustainable Fisheries Implementation Plan.
SEFGP is managed by a Board of Directors, representatives from the industry who meet on a regular basis.
