Kaiser Associates was established in 1981 in the United States with an initial focus on corporate strategy consulting. During the 1990s, Kaiser expanded into new geographical markets - Europe, South America and Africa. With the opening of the South African office in 1997, it became clear that the expertise developed in advising many of the world's top companies could make a valuable contribution to the challenges of economic development. In response to the growing need for these services and the unique requirements of delivering this work, Kaiser established a dedicated Economic Development practice in 1998.
Kaiser Economic Development offers a range of services including:
Economic policy and strategy
Industry development
Regional and local economic development
Transport and trade infrastructure
