Andrew Johnson Knudtzon Ltd. (A.J.K.) is a division of A.M.I Cold Stores Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Andrew Marr International Group. A.J.K. is a famous and long standing part of the Hull food industry chain. It goes back as far as 1881 when Andrew Johnson, the grandfather of Hull’s famous aviator - Amy Johnson - first set up a business with a Norwegian fish exporter named Knudtzon.
A.J.K operates 1.2 million cubic feet of cold storage space from 3 multi-chambered sites in west Hull, adjacent to the main motorway network. The sites are fully modernised to the standards set in E.C directives.
