Cetecsal S.A. Technology Center was created as a result from the need to accumulate and generate further knowledge on salmon production. Therefore it was in 1995 when the construction of the physical-chemical and chromatographic areas began.
Having the purpose of offering integral services to the aquaculture industry on mind we developed the environmental area, which specializes in the elaboration and execution of environmental aquaculture studies. These studies take place along the whole production chain, including fresh water and sea sites, as well as processing plants; mainly in response to environmental laws and regulations.
In the year 2004, we implemented a quality standard based on the ISO 17025 standard “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories ", being accredited in 2005. At the present all our activities are carried out under the ISO standard, meeting all sectorial laws and regulations too.
Among the most important services given by Cetecsal S.A., we offer support and technical advice in the areas of chromatographic, physical and chemical analysis for raw materials, foods, and fish. These studies are performed in Cetecsal´s modern laboratory.
