When we ask the question: Who's problem is the plastic pollution in the ocean? The ANSWER: Is Me. What we recognized in this field of caring for our ocean: a 'lack' of collaboration and shared resources!!
This made it difficult to share and leverage information across this area of study and it also allowed for silos of action to take place globally, leaving lots of different projects aimed at doing the same thing to form without knowledge of the other.
