The Van de Kamp’s story begins over 90 years ago with … potato chips. In 1915, Theodore J. Van de Kamp founded a potato chip stand in Los Angeles with his sisters Marian and Henrietta, and friend Lawrence Frank. They quickly expanded their business to include baked goods.
By 1930, the Frank and Van de Kamp families had expanded even further into the food business, opening a thriving chain of restaurants — with a very popular batter-fried halibut on the menu. Van de Kamp’s makes family dinner easier, with a full variety of great tasting, easy to prepare seafood that will please kids and adults alike.
