The company Kermarée was born in 1991 with the common will of the two shellfish farming basin West Cotentin, William Madelaine and Jean-Pierre K'Dual, disseminate their productions to the major retailers and supermarkets.
This partnership promotes the development of their production, which grows in 1995 to build an industrial site which is now the headquarters of the company.
To meet the expectations of their customers and provide a dynamic market and changing, they decided in 2002 to establish a technical extension of existing workshops with European standards and to extend the range with baked goods.

La société Kermarée est née en 1991 de la volonté commune de deux conchyliculteurs du bassin d’élevage de l’Ouest Cotentin, William Madelaine et Jean-Pierre K’dual, de diffuser leurs productions familiales auprès des principales enseignes de la grande distribution.
Ce partenariat favorise le développement de leurs activités de production, ce qui les pousse à construire en 1995 un site industriel qui est aujourd’hui le siège social de l’entreprise.
Pour répondre aux attentes de leurs clients et servir un marché dynamique, et en pleine mutation, ils décident en 2002 de créer une extension technique des ateliers existants répondant aux normes européennes et permettant d'étendre la gamme avec les produits cuits.
