CFS is a relatively new company formed in 1997 after a Management Buy-Out of the Convenience Food Division of Tetra Laval. We, and the new owners, saw the growth potential of a com pany specialised in performance-focused solutions for the food industry. The strategy was, and still is, to grow the company by increasing our global presence and moving our focus from single machines and packaging materials to complete solutions adding clear value to our customers. All these companies have been put together to make CFS what it is today: Aquarius, Belam, Contel, Dellepac, Dixie Union, Francit, Höffner & Henriksen, Koppens, Krämer+Grebe, SRL, Ohjin, Peeler. Scanio, Square, TiroPak, Tiromat (UK), Wolfking Altogether more than 40 organisational units have been put together to make the CFS we know today. This includes many well established companies, with special competencies in technology, sales & service, now operating in 40 countries throughout the world. 1991 TETRA PAK takes over the entire ALFA LAVAL Group. 1993 Koppens is part of TLF - Tetra Laval Convenience Food. 1994 Start of the production of the auger feed forming machines. 1995 Start of the production of the CFS CookStar. 1997 Foundation of Convenience Food Systems. 2010        GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft expands the share of food process technology in its portfolio.
