Multi-Ice Quality (MIQ) is an Icelandic company which has developed a compact, low energy eco-innovative technology and a process to extend and maximize shelf-life of fresh food.
The process works “farm-to-fork”, (or rather “ship-to-fork”) and has been used on fish and seafood for ten years, since 1999.
MIQ also has natural supplements, made from natural sea salt, compliant with food processing standards to help prevent bacterial growth in refrigerating and residual water.
The MIQ technology, the product and the process have been implemented in several countries, such as Iceland, Norway, Faroe Islands, Scotland, Brazil, Iran and South Africa.
