The Programs of the Graduate School of Bioresources, Mie University, includes studies in the following Majors: Sustainable Resource Science, Environmental Science and Technology, and Life Science. The main educational and research topics are: biomass and bioenergy utilization, conservation of the natural, industrial and livings spaces, natural disasters analysis and disaster mitigation, efficient recycling of ligno-cellulose type biomass, analysis of control mechanism of genome and genes and useful genes development, as well as production and technical development for safe and secure food. Making full use of our Field Science Center ( University Farm, University Experimantal Forest, Fishery Research Station ) and Research Ship, as much as 182 faculty memebers are involved in these educational and research activities, covering the area from forests through lands to oceans. Students from overseas with excellent ability anre highly called for.
