The origins of our organization date back to 1993, after the merger of the Centra Coop., Selex Ibérica and Spar Española centres, to which Vima and Daper were later added, in 1995 and 1998, respectively.
Since then, Euromadi, which arose from the union of interests between associates and suppliers, whose relationship is based on mutual benefit, has managed to consolidate itself in Europe, expand its business in Portugal and establish a high rate of competitiveness in distribution.
Aware of the importance of the globalisation of the market, Euromadi is a member of European Marketing Distribution (EMD), the largest centre of mass consumption products in Europe and leader en distribution. The Euromadi Group has a 17,5% share in the capital of EMD
