The Austrian Fisheries Advisory Council is a body which uses the Federal Minister in relation to specific issues in the article. The Fisheries Advisory Board was constituted in early 2000 with the following efforts: Objective: coordination of the interests of fisheries and aquaculture at the national level. Responsibilities: Safeguard the interests of national fisheries, aquaculture, direct marketing, fish processing, fish trade and recreational fisheries. Formation of a national dialogue platform, the ministries, state, interests and economic impact across agencies. Support and advice to the legislation at the federal and state level and the BMLFUW in the perception and implementation of EU fisheries policy. Work areas: Coordination of interests between different needs support at the national level.
