Astrid Fiskeri A/S is one of the significant fishing companies in Denmark primarily working herring and mackerel for human consumption. Fishing for sand eel, sprat and Norway pout for fishmeal and fishoil is also an important activity.
The owners of the company are all working as active skippers. This means simple lines of communication and fast decisions.
The setup of the company in Denmark took place in Esbjerg in 2010 in cooperation with Anders Illeborg. In May 2014 all activities were moved to Skagen – still with Anders Illeborg as base manager.
Based on business relations in Skagen for decades a new domicile with 1,200 m2 net store and 200 m2 office- and conference facilities was taken into use.
Situated close to the new cruise quay the domicile is part of the new, exciting development of Skagen harbour.
Astrid Fiske AB, Sweden holds 98% of the shares of Astrid Fiskeri A/S and Danish skipper Mogens Oerts Jensen holds 2% of the shares.
