The project to have its own factory for the preparation of packaging began at the end of 2013, with the intention of continuing with the vertical integration of the different business units of Grupomar.
In this way and with a long-term vision, it was decided to finalize the investment project in order to have one of the most modern factories of food grade metallic packaging, which supplies the demand of the industrial tuna processing plant and canned food from our business group.

It is a modern packaging factory that has the capacity to produce more than 500 million containers in the three production lines with which it generates 42 direct sources of employment.
