Soares da Costa has a strong international component (about 62% of its turnover came from outside in 2011), maintaining a permanent presence in Florida (USA), Angola, Mozambique and Romania and timely activity in several other countries. In the world rankings conducted by U.S. magazine ENR (2012), Soares da Costa occupies position 105 as "International Contractor". In international terms, Soares da Costa ranks among the 100 largest construction groups, ranking in 48th place in 2011, according to the annual publication "European powers of construction."
Its corporate structure is founded on four sub-holdings, corresponding to four business areas: Construction, Concessions, and Real Estate Industry.
