The history of this family business, started in Vigo in the year 46 in the street Montero Ríos nº12. Its founder was Don José María Pérez Rodríguez, he realized that merchant ships needed to stock up on food and drink to face their journeys between port and port. The success of Don José Maríal was always to bring products of good quality and efficiency in the service. Those have been the maxims of the company over the years, where today Chano Carrera and his son Jose Maria Perez, are the third generation that governs the destinies of Casa Pepe.
The city of Vigo has changed a lot in the second half of the 20th century and with it the municipal planning plan making the street where Casa Pepe started today is a pedestrian promenade, so it has had to move to some old ships in the Dock of Transatlantic Vigo. Since 1996 they operate from there with the same efficiency and quality from the first day as they are accredited by their international certificates ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, members of the International Association of Ships and Services Provisioners (ISSA) and Authorized Economic Operator (OAS).
