Ekone Oyster Company was founded on May 15, 1982 by Nick and Joanne Jambor.Over the years, the company grew and expanded their markets. Now Ekone employs close to fifty people. They are still known for their smoked oysters, but also have a full line which includes all sizes of in-shell and opened oysters. The farm consists of over 350 acres which are farmed in pristine Willapa Bay using both long line methods and the traditional ground culture.
Our fresh shucked oysters and smoked oysters are harvested from the pristine Willapa Bay estuary where the waters of the Pacific Ocean meet with the fresh water from the rivers and streams flowing out of the Willapa Hills.
