Merluza Austral Chile joins other 19 active sectorial brands under the umbrella of Prochile, an institution under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile. Prochile is in charge of the promotion of the exportable supply of Chilean goods and services, and of contributing to the diffusion of foreign investment and the promotion of tourism. The director of ProChile, Alejandro Buvinic, and the general manager of the Federation of Southern Fishing Industries, Valeria Carvajal ProChile, together with the Federation of Southern Fishing Industries (Fipes), launch the sectoral brand "Merluza Austral Chile", wild capture fish from the southern area of the country, with the aim of publicizing the product in the international market . It is bet in this way that the brand internationally strengthens the identity and quality contrasted this product. The brand Merluza Austral Chile is the result of the careful work of producers, exporters and marketers.
