January 2019 - Boston-based InnovaSea Systems announced it reached an agreement to acquire the Norwegian technology company Nortek Akvakultur. Nortek Akvakultur together with InnovaSea's Realtime Aquaculture unit will form the InnovaSea Instrumentation team. Nortek Akvakultur has been providing high quality environmental data to the Norwegian aquaculture industry for the last ten years. Nortek Akvakultur has an installed base of more than 300 sites in every major production region in Norway. Norway, March 1, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Innovasea Systems announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Norway-based Nortek Akvakultur. Nortek Akvakultur has been combined with Innovasea's Realtime Aquaculture unit to form the Innovasea Instrumentation team.
