It is for the Minister of Land Affairs the determination of policies conducive to order, promotion and development of all agricultural activities, fisheries and food production and Controller.
Some of its activities are:
Promote agricultural production, to propose policies that promote and perform the audit sector health and quality control.
Develop, implement and monitor systems that promote and regulate the activities of agriculture, forestry and hunting.
Participate in the development, implementation and oversight of the general system of rural land and administration and settlement of public land, in coordination with other enforcement agencies.
