AgroMar del Pacífico S.A. is a company that was born as an aquaculture project in 2001 among young professional biologists and fishing engineers, due to the growing consumption of marine products and the increasing exploitation of these.
In 2002 this idea is captured by businessmen and so in 2003 AgroMar del Pacifico begins to operate in its concession of 75 ha in the Bay of Samanco dedicated to the cultivation of fan shells "Argopecten purpuratus".
With the passing of time Agromar del Pacifico in order to expand its production, install a Hatchery or Hatchery Laboratory in the North of Peru, it is in 2005 that begins to operate in Los Organos Piura, a concession of 25 hectares of sea and a laboratory dedicated to the production of fan shell seed.
Due to the growing demand in the field of aquaculture, Agromar del Pacifico in 2007 became a consulting company in the aquaculture environment, entering into new projects of aquaculture development of various species, hiring expert professionals in each subject and expanding the Laboratory capacity.
Currently we handle projects with scallops, native oysters, Pacific oysters, shrimp and microalgae for the production of Biodiesel.
