Conservas Daporta, S.L., was created in 1940 as a family business. In the beginningwas mainly devoted to canned sardines, tuna and mackerel. The passage of timeand changing consumer tastes, leading the company to adapt to new marketdemands, orienting their production to canned seafood from the river, withoutneglecting traditional line fish.
Conservas Daporta, SL, since its inception has been committed to the gradualoptimization and upgrade their processes. Since 1950 belongs to ANFACO(National Association of Canned Fish and Seafood) and is adapted to Community in matters of hygiene, safety, etc.
The company has an area of 1,400 m2, based on three ships:
- Reception and processing of fresh seafood of the day.
- Selection, packing and closing.
- Storage and cases of the final product.
