"Aquaculture in Israel" is the bulletin of the Fish Breeders Association in Israel It features general information about aquaculture in Israel and various professional activities, and provides links (under Publications) to both the Israeli Journal of Aquaculture - Bamidgeh (English) and Fisheries and Fishbreeding in Israel (Hebrew) as well as non-periodical publications. The goals of the Fish Breeders Association in Israel (an agricultural association) are to advance the economic status of its members, such as planning the industry, preserving prices, maintaining high quality of products as a safe and healthy food for the consumers, representing fish farmers facing public and state authorities, and promoting extension and research which are cornerstones to achieving the goals of the association. Israeli fish farmers have over 70 years of proven experience. We specialize mainly in technological aspects of unique culture methods: earthen ponds, water reservoirs, recycled aquaculture systems (RAS), water recycling, exploitation of marginal waters and seed production.
