Freia-Forellen Export A/S was founded 1979. The company is 100% Danish owned but at the same time very international. We have specialized in buying and selling live fish – primarily trout bred in Denmark – to many parts of Europe (the Continent).
From the beginning in 1979 with 3 men and 1 lorry which Finn R. Jensen and his mate drove, the company has today (among other things through buying other companies) developed into Denmark’s largest exporter of live trout.
The fleet now consists of 8 lorries and the staff has increased to approx. 35 employees, of these 7 at the office, 1 mechanic in the garage and approx. 25 lorry drivers.
