DinoSol Supermercados (“DinoSol”) is a leading Spanish food retailer, operating two brands: HiperDino and SuperSol. The company currently has around 460 stores with a total selling space of approximately 400,000 square metres. While the supermarket format represents over 60% of total group sales, the company also operates convenience stores under the Netto brand and cash and carry and hypermarket formats in the Canary Islands.
DinoSol enjoys a strong market position in the south of Spain: it is a market leader in the Canary Islands and in Andalucía, with a particular strength in the Costa del Sol. About 75% of the company’s sales are concentrated in regions where DinoSol has a strong market share.
DinoSol is one of the main Spanish distribution companies and the leading one in the Canary Islands where it operates under the brand names of HiperDino and HiperDino Express. It has 194 outlets spread across Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and La Palma.
