Freudenberg & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft (limited partnership) is the strategic parent company of the Freudenberg Group. Under its umbrella, Freudenberg SE acts as the parent company of the various Business Groups, with responsibility for managing business operations.
The Freudenberg Group is active in four Business Areas. These Business Areas break down into several Business Groups responsible for their own operations. The structure of the Business Groups includes all key functions for managing business as autonomous entities. Some smaller business units operate as business divisions. These include service companies that primarily offer services to other Freudenberg companies.
Freudenberg is a diversified company with a very broad product spectrum, ranging from seals and nonwovens to household products, lubricants and IT services. Freudenberg mainly supplies intermediate products for further processing or to be used in manufacturing final goods.
