Disco - Supermarket

Disco operates in the supermarket sector with formats from 800 to 1,600 square meters in surface and a very service oriented strategy. In December 2007 the unit had 114 stores and a 7.6% national market share. The economic policy is carried out through the Súper Vea formats, with 120 stores and an 8% markets share.  This multi-brand strategy, developed following the socioeconomic changes experienced in Argentina after the 2001-2002 crisis (which caused the change of several stores from Disco to Vea as well as the gradual closure of Mini sol operations) has allowed the company to maintain a high level of competitiveness and achieve an outstanding sales volume in the national consumer market.
