SNEFN Monthly is an independent professional news and research organization which reports objectively on the commercial fisheries regulatory field comprised of commercial fleet and boat owners, skippers, fishermen, fish wholesalers, equipment and service providers known as shore-side support, marine science, research and educational community, legal, regulatory and enforcement function of the United States government, and the several states which reside in the market area of the SNEFN, and environmental research and advocacy organizations.
The publication’s primary focus of rulemaking is the operation and impact on domestic commercial fishing as a key source of valuable food protein, major employment on shore and off, and significant investment by industry and the private sector. The condition of the environment in which commercial fishing occurs is an essential component of that focus. So too is the gathering of data by government, educational institutions, and the private sector to be used to frame commercial fishing regulation.
