Family owners called Romkes as a last name are running one of a total of 275 fishery firms (308 VESSELS) operating in the Central North Sea targeting flatfish. The number of people on board is six and the firm was established in the mid 1960’s . WBV represents the Dutch flatfish fishery sector of the North Sea in the MYFISH project. They are members of Vissersbond and have been part of the structural changes in the sector that have taken place over the years.
