The history of Mah Protein Co.,Ltd is unique, in that it illustrates the tremendous growth of a small family business into a multi-million dollar seafood processing and exporting organization within a relatively short period of time.
The founder of the Company, Mr. G. Mahdi, is a pioneer in the fishing and seafood industry here in Iran. He is credited with many innovative fishing industry development sectors. He is well known by fishermen all along the Persian-Gulf coast for his ability to support & pay the best price for the fishermen’s daily catch who work hard to bring their daily-catches with small fibre-glass boats.
The Company now operates in its most modern fully air-conditioned H.A.C.C.P certified plant in Bushehr.Mah Protein was the first Company in Iran to obtain the sanitary EU code number 700, for shellfish & seafood exports to Europe. All our production is carried out at our own modern facility, and all stages in the process are carefully monitored by our highly trained quality assurance staff under the HACCP programme.
